The Fellowshippe of Musickers, an international band of versatile musicians, bring new life and energy to medieval repertoire. All members are classically trained but have strong roots in the folk traditions of their varied countries of origin. Their approach combines rigorous research with pure musical spontaneity. The instruments played on this album are all copies of original instruments; geographically various, these instruments reflect the eclectic approach of the group. The Fellowshippe of Musickers adopt a musical philosophy which encompasses a well-researched and historically pragmatic approach to using the original sources and a wide selection of instruments and voices.
The group has toured widely, to Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Greece and Sweden.
All arrangements are by The Fellowshippe of Musickers.
